Jamison and I decided to take our annual trip and get away for the weekend. We headed once again to Asheville, NC and stayed at the Grove Park Resort (which we love). It took a lot of preparation and will power to leave the baby boy overnight. During the course of the trip, it was not uncommon to find us looking at pictures on the camera at dinner or before we went to bed. However, we refrained from looking at his pictures while at the spa (cameras were not allowed). We counted down the hours until we would get to see him again, and tried to imagine how he would react when we arrived at the grandparents.
During this trip we realized that we really didn't need a getaway and that it really isn't that tough to take care of him each day. He is a strong willed child, but he is definitely not high maintenance.
