Pistol

Boy, Tyler was really a pistol today. During the morning session with me he didn't want to play on the floor or play in the exersaucer, but he really wasn't clingy so I wasn't thinking that he may be a bit under the weather. I relay his behavior to Jamison during the midday exchange and I get home to the same baby. This isn't my sweat little baby boy. So then I get to thinking that maybe he is going through a growth spurt or isn't feeling well. He was ok after his tummy was filled so I am leaning toward growth spurt.

Of course Jamison says that everything is a growth spurt in my eyes, but I think this really may be the case. Either it is a growth spurt or he is just completely crabby from having to deal with learning to crawl, sit up, and teething.

On Saturday he began getting on all fours and rocking back and forth, he has been a slobber monster for over a month now, and he is trying to sit up.

We are hoping he just had a bad day. We will see what happens tomorrow.

Tyler's Favorites

I have noticed a few things that I thought I should document before I forget. Tyler would rather Stand than lay on his belly. He currently Loves Carrots, Squash, and Sweet Potatoes. He could be a poster child for Campbells Soup. Each Bite of food is completed with "Hmmmmm". He also loves cows. At first I thought it would be the gecko in the Mirror Me Baby einstein book, but no it is the cow. He loves his Moo Cows. I think he get's that honestly from his Aunt Erin. She also loved her Moo Cows!

Been A While

This is becoming a theme, but I am really crazy busy all the time. when I am not caring for Tyler I am working, and when I am not doing either I am sleeping so there is really no time.

Tyler is sleeping through the night now (Thank Goodness). He does his general yelp every once in a while, but we ignore it and he just continues to sleep. The only time he really wakes up is when he has pushed himself into a corner of the crib and can't get out. Then he has to yell for help and of course we come to the rescue.

He is definately a mover and a shaker. He can now roll over from back to tummy and tummy to back. And he likes to scoot. There is no stopping him. Jamison and I will be scheduling time to get down on our knees and start roming through the house to see what the little guy can get into so we can begin baby proofing preparations. I have a feeling with his curiosity he will be into everything.
